Welcome! Welcome to Myth, a wild horse/wolf rpg that's a little bit different than the rest. You see, the focus here is not so much on evil darks vs. the good lights (if you read the History, which I highly suggest you do, you'll understand why) but more on interaction and plots. The plot will be moving forward constantly, bringing new elements into the rpg, and giving everyone a chance to participate. Along with the main plot, side plots are encouraged as well. In the end, all we want to do is make sure you have fun!
So, what about the site itself? The site is open to roleplayers of any level, though there is a 100 word limit each post. Right now, there is no new active plot beyond the history, but once new members join, I promise things will start happening, mysterious will be revealed, and maybe even more land will open up for claiming -wink wink-. Right now we're a small rpg, but if all this has got you interested, feel free to browse over the forum and see if you like it here. New members are always welcome!
Suspicious Mother « Result #1 on Mar 18, 2009, 10:13pm »
Brian invited his mother over for dinner. During the course of the meal, Brian's mother couldn't help but keep noticing how beautiful Brian's roommate, Stephanie, was.
Brian's Mom had long been suspicious of a relationship between Brian and Stephanie, and this had only made her more curious. Over the course of the evening, while watching the two react, she started to wonder if there was more between Brian and Stephanie than met the eye. Reading his mom's thoughts, Brian volunteered, "I know what you must be thinking, but I assure you Stephanie and I are just roommates."
About a week later, Stephanie came to Brian saying, "Ever since your mother came to dinner, I've been unable to find the beautiful silver gravy ladle. You don't suppose she took it, do you?" Brian said, "Well, I doubt it, but I'll send her an e-mail just to be sure". So he sat down and wrote:
"Dear Mom: I'm not saying that you "did" take the gravy ladle from the house; I'm not saying that you "did not" take the gravy ladle. But the fact remains that one has been missing ever since you were here for
dinner. Love, Brian".
Several days later, Brian received an email back from his mother that read:
"Dear Son: I'm not saying that you "do" sleep with Stephanie; I'm not saying that you "do not" sleep with Stephanie. But the fact remains that if Stephanie is sleeping in her own bed, she would have found the gravy ladle by now. Love, Mom."
Christmas Love! « Result #2 on Mar 18, 2009, 9:52pm »
Is Christmas dying? Holly that hang from the door is disappearing, Lights don¡¯t shine so bright. Christmas goodwill and spirit is hard to be found, Feeling I¡¯ve found my scrooge. Is it now that I¡¯ve grown I see a different picture, Not so tinted in green and gifts. Santa filling my stocking, Everything such a dream through a child eyes. Nativity plays being played at school, The birth of Christ instilled into our lives. Life is changing with so many different cultures and beliefs. Will the true meaning be lost? When we have people digging a hole with their wallets. Christmas is not about the biggest present, Or how much money you¡¯ve spent. Christmas for me is about love, Giving it through goodwill, with a smile or just being there. People may lose faith in religion, Never lose faith in Christmas, Christmas is love!
A Guy Named Bill « Result #3 on Mar 4, 2009, 8:20pm »
His name was Bill. He had wild hair, wore a T-shirt with holes in it, blue jeans and no shoes. In the entire time I knew him I never once saw Bill wear a pair of shoes. Rain, sleet or snow, Bill was barefoot. This was literally his wardrobe for his whole four years of college.
He was brilliant and looked like he was always pondering the esoteric.wow power leveling He became a Christian while attending college. Across the street from the campus was a church full of well-dressed, middle-class people. They wanted to develop a ministry to the college students, but they were not sure how to go about it.
One day, Bill decided to worship there. He walked into the church, complete with his wild hair, T-shirt, blue jeans and bare feet.wow gold The church was completely packed, and the service had already begun. Bill started down the aisle to find a place to sit. By now the people were looking a bit uncomfortable, but no one said anything.
As Bill moved closer and closer to the pulpit, wow power leveling he realized there were no empty seats. So he squatted and sat down on the carpet right up front. (Although such behavior would have been perfectly acceptable at the college fellowship, this was a scenario this particular congregation had never witnessed before!) By now, the people seemed uptight, and the tension in the air was thickening.
Right about the time Bill took his ¡°seat,¡± a deacon began slowly making his way down the aisle from the back of the sanctuary. The deacon was in his eighties, had silver gray hair, a three-piece suit and a pocket watch.wow power leveling He was a godly man -- very elegant, dignified and courtly. He walked with a cane and, as he neared the boy, church members thought, ¡°You can¡¯t blame him for what he¡¯s going to do. How can you expect a man of his age and background to understand some college kid on the floor?¡±
It took a long time for the man to reach the boy.wow gold The church was utterly silent except for the clicking of his cane. You couldn¡¯t even hear anyone breathing. All eyes were on the deacon.
But then they saw the elderly man drop his cane on the floor.wow gold With great difficulty, he sat down on the floor next to Bill and worshipped with him. Everyone in the congregation choked up with emotion. When the minister gained control, he told the people, ¡°What I am about to preach, you will never remember. What you¡¯ve just seen, you will never forget.¡±
Hello there literate roleplayers. Are you tired of bland Light vs. Dark plots, equine RPGs that all seem the same, and plots that don't affect your character?
Well we've got a surprise for you. At The Secret it's not just about good and evil. In fact, good and evil don't have a lot to do with things. No matter whose side you're on, you can be as nice or as cruel as you see fit. But if you live in the north you'd better be tough if you want to stay alive. Here's a summary of what kinds of characters you can make:
Southern equines: The Resistance. You like freedom and would rather be left to your own devices. Conquering is not really your thing, you just want to be left alone to start a herd. Weakland equines: The Captives. You keep your head down and hope you don't get beaten up too often. You dream of escaping to the south, but know you'll be killed for trying. Mostly mares live here, though there is a small number of stallions. They usually get beaten down the most so they can't rebel. Northern equines: Tartarus's Legions. You work for the mastermind, Tartarus, the one who blew the news about the object of power out into the open. You answer to his captain Atlas, and you spend your time fighting, bullying mares in the Weaklands, and training colts for the army. If you have any spare time you can gather a small herd. Haven of Hesperides: The Secret Keepers. You know not hate nor greed, and you live within the walls of the Haven. You may leave to explore, but other equines seem so different to you. You live in peace and philosophy, seeking knowledge and enlightenment. But you know what is brewing, and the battle will come to your doorstep even though they cannot break down the door.

What's going on... ?
There was peace once, though by now it is but a distant memory in the minds of those old enough to remember. There was order and cohesion, and nothing to fear. The Keepers of Hesperides stayed within their walled Haven, and none disrupted their peace. There was always a rumor that an object of unspeakable power lay hidden within those great walls, but in time the rumor grew dull with age. But now a young stallion, maddened with greed, is gathering all the information he can about this mysterious object of celestial power. Flanked by the powerful drafts of the northern lands, he is murdering and taking prisoners left and right. There is only a handful of southern herds that stand against him, led by the mysterious Theseus. If they are vanquished, the Keepers will be on their own. Chaos and uncertainty abound. How much longer can the forces of reason hold off this madman?

M A I N P L O T *
Forks, Washington has always been a place where things have been simple. Recently, with the influx of vampires, people have failed to notice those that have gone missing. The werewolves can't hurt the Cullen clan. They've not broken their contract, they've not hurt a soul. But it's open season on vampires. With everyone in a whirlwind of vampiric chaos and death tolls in Forks rising, the Volturi still haven't shown their faces to stop the madness.
¤ ¤ ¤
Following a trio in Italy, the Volturi are winded and tired. Their bodies go forever, but their minds, caused by blackness in their tracking and the inability to see the ones being tracked, are growing weary, ready to return home. That is when a sense comes. the smell of a creature closer. He's bleeding, wounded. He's what they're hunting. The fourth to the group, making it a trio that's on the loose, rather than four. His words lead them all to Forks, where the Volturi come armed, ready to kill.
¤ ¤ ¤
They carry no scent. They are close. Two males, a single female, each varying in size, each meek and unwilling to become part of a group. What are they? What could be dangerous enough to distract the Volturi when they were clearly challenged by such scary numbers that have climbed in Forks?
S U B P L O T
The Volturi have their eyes on the main prize that exists in the Cullen family; namely, Edward Cullen. With Edward's unique ability for mind reading, the Volturi have their sights set on him. They percieve him to be one of the weakest links in the Cullen family and are looking to exploit any weaknesses he may possess.
¤ ¤ ¤
Knowing that Edward has not yet taken a vampire mate, the Volturi send one of their own ranks, a woman capable of blocking any mental abilities another supernatural being can use against her. This makes her the perfect tool against Edward and his family. This woman has had expert amounts of training in her ability, and years to practice with it. She has set justice to many of her kin at the orders of the Volturi and followed them faithfully. Not only is she a defense mechanism, but she is a lethal killing machine. Her goal is to try to take Edward under her wing and convert him to her cause through whatever means possible. The Volturi have made it clear to her that they could care less whether she seduces him or not, and how many casualties will rest in her hands in the process.
¤ ¤ ¤
With this woman loose in Washington, seeking out Edward specifically, Edward's relationship with Bella could become very complicated, very fast.

Many belived, especially the horses who fled for safety as two years passed, the deers grazed, bred and had many a fawn, but one day a hurricane hit the island of Opuim and half of the deer died off and many were fawns and the does. Stags were left upset, orphans looking around and found their mother dead on the floor, or not at all. The Deers went on trying, and soon were free of the past, and were thinking about starting alliances, as the god of deer said that many were killing their own friends and soon all the horses chose their side.
